Vet Fees Cover Limit: £8,000 per condition without time limit.

Maximum Age for New Policies: 10 years (6 years for selected breeds of dogs)

Vet Fees Benefits

Dental Costs: Includes cover for dental condition caused by accidents or underlying illnesses but not gum or tooth disease.
Prescription Food: Not covered.
Euthanasia: Not covered
Complementary Therapies: Included in vet fees. Will only pay a maximum of £35 per session for hydrotherapy or physiotherapy. Hydrotherapy and physiotherapy is limited to 15 sessions per condition.
Behavioural Therapy: Not covered

Third Party Liability Cover

Third Party Liability: Optional £2 million – No non-standard exclusions.

Additional Benefits

Death Benefit – Illnesses Not covered
Death Benefit – Accidents – Optional Pays purchase price of your pet (maximum £1,500).
Theft & Straying Benefit – Optional Pays purchase price of your pet (maximum £1,500).
Advertising & Reward – Optional £1,000
Boarding Fees – Optional £1,000 Pays the cost of a licensed boarding establishment or professional minding service.
Holiday cancellation £2,000 Covers cancellation/curtailment as a result of your pet requiring immediate lifesaving treatment – or going missing shortly before you travel or whilst on holiday.

Travel Cover

Limitations: No more than 3 journeys of maximum of 30 days. Only covers trips to countries which are members of the PET travel scheme.
Vets Fees Abroad – Optional. Included in overall vet fees limit
Quarantine Fees – Optional £1,500
Loss of Documents Cover – Optional £350
Emergency Expenses Abroad – Optional £200

  1. How long before I receive reimbursement I paid to vet then made a claim (vet has changed manner of taking a claim).
