Vet Fees Benefits

Dental Costs: As a result of accident or injury only
Prescription Food:  Very limited cover. Only pays prescription food for treatment of bladder stones/urine crystals. Maximum £100.
Euthanasia: Covered
Complementary Therapies:  £500 (included within the vet fees limit)
Behavioural Therapy: Not covered.

Third Party Liability Cover

Third Party Liability: £1 million – with “non-standard” exclusions

Additional Benefits

Death Benefit – Illnesses  Will pay a percentage of the purchase price of your pet (subject to a maximum of £1,000)which is dependent on the age at which they die  (eg 90% for 1 year old,  25% for 6 year old etc). Not payable for pets aged 8 years or over.
Death Benefit – Accidents  As for death as a result of illness
Theft & Straying Benefit Will pay a percentage of the purchase price of your pet (subject to a maximum of £1,000)which is dependent on the age at which the are stolen or lost  (eg 90% for 1 year old,  25% for 6 year old etc). Not payable for pets aged 8 years or over.
Advertising & Reward  £400
Boarding Fees  £500  Will pay the cost to board your pet at a kennel/cattery or with a professional home carer.
Holiday cancellation  £1,000  Will pay holiday cancellation/curtailment costs if your pet requires immediate life-saving surgery up to 14 days before you travel or whilst you are away.

Travel Cover

Limitations: 2 holidays per year (maximum 30 days in total) to EU countries which are members of the PET travel scheme
Vets Fees Abroad  Included in vet fees limit
Quarantine Fees  Not covered
Loss of Documents Cover  Not covered
Emergency Expenses Abroad  Not covered
