optional benefits

Pet Insurance Policies with Optional Benefits

Most pet insurance policies available in the UK offer a range of other benefits in addition to providing financial cover for vet fees.

These include third party liability cover, death benefits, holiday cancellation cover, lost pet benefits and travel cover.

Although most policies include these benefits (or at least most of them) as standard, some pet insurance providers give you the option to choose whether or not you want this extra cover.

Opting out of these benefits will reduce the premium you pay.

These optional benefits are usually grouped into packages comprising one or more individual benefits. You can then choose which “optional benefit packages” you require.
