In this brief article we summarise recent M&S customer reviews available on the web in an attempt to give you the best possible overall view of how M&S is currently performing.
Pet Insurance Surveys
October 2020-October 2021
In October 2021 our sister site, Pet Insurance Surveys, conducted a claims satisfaction survey in which M&S achieved an average rating of 4.6/5.0 from 9 reviews. They were ranked 8th of the 16 providers for whom 6 or more responses were received.
Pet Insurance Review

Three of the five reviews about M&S posted in the above period rated M&S 1/5 with only one review giving them 5/5.
The most common complaint was about a excessive premium increases.
The Review Centre

There were also five reviews posted on the Review Centre for the period – again three of them gave a rating of 1/5.
We found three complaints about premium hikes and two complaints about customer service.
The Which? pet insurance survey included 125 respondents who were insured with M&S. The overall ratings achieved by M&S were 4/5 for customer service, 3/5 for value for money and 3/5 for transparency of charges. They were ranked 7th overall in the table of 11 pet insurance providers.
It is worth noting though that every pet insurance provider included in the results achieved either 3/5 or 4/5 for each of the above, and therefore it is difficult to distinguish performance.

There are not really enough M&S reviews to enable us to reach a conclusion so if you have any more information then please do comment below.
However it is probably fair to point out that we have seen many other comments elsewhere on forums regarding premium hikes from M&S.
