In October 2014 our sister site, Pet Insurance Surveys, conducted a claims satisfaction survey in which The Kennel Club achieved an average rating of 4.5/5.0 from 8 reviews. All respondents rated The Kennel Club as 4/5 or 5/5.
Pet Insurance Review
Five of the six reviews we found for the above period rated The Kennel Club as 4/5 or 5/5.
The only negative review complained about an aggressive sales approach.
The Review Centre
We only found one review for the Kennel Club for this six month period which was negative. The reviewer was unaware that they would have to pay a 20% contribution in addition to the excess which according to them had not been mentioned by the salesperson.
The Which? pet insurance survey included 125 respondents who were insured with The Kennel Club. The overall ratings achieved by The Kennel Club were 4/5 for customer service, 3/5 for value for money and 4/5 for transparency of charges. They were ranked 8th overall in the table of 11 popular pet insurance providers.
It is worth noting though that every pet insurance provider included in the results achieved either 3/5 or 4/5 for each of the above, and therefore it is difficult to distinguish performance.

However our conclusion would be that most The Kennel Club policyholders are happy with the claims service they receive. There are though a couple of negative reviews from people unhappy about the way the policy was sold to them.
